Varun Aaron delighted with Test come in

Varun Aaron said he was "emotion great" at result a berth in the 15-member Indian team for the first Test against the West Indies.

"I am feeling good," the rookie fast bowler said when asked how it feels like after learning that he was chosen in the team led by statemate Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

He accredited his father for breaking into the national team saying "my dad stimulated me to play cricket."

The 21-year-old pacer, however, decline to take any further question saying it was not allowed under BCCI rules.

Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) president Amitabh Choudhary, the man who has seen Varun rising up from junior cricket, expressed gladness on Varun's selection.

"I am self-important to see Dhoni catapulting to Test cricket after establish him in the incomplete overs. Now Varun is selected for Test cricket close on the heal of his stupendous performance in the recently finished one-day series next to the England team," said Choudhary, who was manager during India's tour of Zimbabwe a few years ago.

Recalling Varun's head-line hogging 153.4 km/hour delivery during the Jharkhand/Gujarat Vijay Hazare medal final last year, Choudhary said there was no short cut for achievement and he should maintain constancy through a disciplined effort.

"Varun should stay focused and should try to become a winning bowler," he said and hoped Varun would bowl even faster against the West Indies.

Sehwag told: Rotate pacers to stay away from injury

Dashing India opener Virender Sehwag believes the only way to keep away from injuries is to rotate the fast bowlers by giving them regular break.

"It's significant that the team administration ensures that they don't play too many matches. Fast bowlers are prone to injury and when they get wounded their pace goes," Sehwag said.

"Besides, when you are wounded, your rejoinder becomes very hard," he added.

Sehwag, who is look forward to the series against West Indies after getting better from shoulder damage, said any decision to have different teams for Tests and the shorter versions of the game lies completely with the selectors.

"A cricketer's enthusiasm is to play for the country. If somebody says he's tired, he can talk to the team management. Dhoni was not given rest on his asking for, because there were too many injuries in the team," he said.

The 33-year-old said he was very aggravated when he got injured and admit that he made an error by playing in England when he had not fully improved.

"I knew I was desired. I tried my best but I realized that I hurried my comeback in England. It was a complicated time in England for the whole team... so many injuries," he said.

The Delhi Daredevils skipper also discarded the insight that Indian players prefer IPL over playing Test matches and said this whole club over country debate was preposterous.

"Tell me one cricketer who has said that. It's a insight that the media and ex-cricketers have. Every youngster dreams of playing Tests. There is not a single Indian or for that matter international cricketer who has taken departure from Tests and ODIs to play IPL," he said.

"I played the World Cup with injuries, Sachin played when he had a cracked toe or other injuries. People are not aware of this," he said.

Sehwag said no one will be able to replace Sachin Tendulkar.

"Nobody will ever play for as long as Sachin has however good quality he may be. There can never be another Sachin," he said.

Sehwag felt Indian cricket is in safe hands with so many youngsters playing well.

The Delhi cricketer singled out Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma as the players who will carry Indian cricket forward.

"When the seniors retire, I have full faith in these gifted youngsters taking their place. There may be a problem for a year or two, but Indian cricket is in safe hands."

Shakib establish the boundary again off the first delivery after tea, and reserved up a run rate of better than a run a ball as he passed 50.

He hammers three boundaries off one Darren Sammy more than but were bowled by Devendra Bishoo having put on 84 with Naeem Islam.

That would have represent a good evening for Bangladesh but Naeem was absurdly run out for 45.

Mohsin Khan told the team to be mentally tough

Mohsin Khan, Pakistan's temporary coach and chief selector, has said that he told his players to be mentally strong in front of the second Test next to Sri Lanka in Dubai. Pakistan won the match by nine wickets after extravagant a strong place in the drawn first Test in Abu Dhabi.

"It's a team game and every man has to play his part in its place of relying on the senior players," Mohsin told. "I advise them to be honest and in charge as we are here to carry out our duty and are probable to deliver our best.

"The main thing I had transmitted to the boys was that no substance how big a player you are, you aren't bigger than Pakistan."

Pakistan's batsmen showed rare constancy in Dubai and the bowlers respond well to give them a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Mohsin said that he tries to get the players to trust their ability and they deliver. "My team has all the required ability to beat any team. They only needed steadiness in batting and bowling and this time they hit the mark in both departments and results are there."

Pakistan had drop six catches in Sri Lanka's second innings in Abu Dhabi after taking a 314-run first-innings lead, allow Kumar Sangakkara and Prasanna Jayawardene to put on a match-saving 201-run stand. Mohsin said that Pakistan were dissatisfied that they had let go of a winning opportunity. "Those dropped catches in fact injured all our good work. But this is all part of cricket and what is significant is not to repeat those mistakes and take the next step for development."

Mohsin also warn his side against being content with their 1-0 lead ahead of the final Test in Sharjah. "We are wary of Sri Lanka as they will come hard and try to make the most of the final Test but we are brimming with self-assurance and I will make sure my men guard against satisfaction."

Test cricket will return to Sharjah after a nine-year gap when the third match of the series starts on November 3, but Mohsin said that there would be little dissimilarity in conditions compared to the venues for the first two games. "The climate conditions are similar as before although the track has a lot to offer to batsmen and less to the bowlers."
